Chinatown Wishing Tree 2012

Make your New Year wishes come true at the Chinatown Wishing Tree this Spring Festival!

Inspired by the Hong Kong Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree tradition, you can try your hand at tossing a mandarin orange wishing charm onto a lucky banyan tree at Chinatown.

Join in the festive fun by making wishes for yourself, your loved ones and your country. For a donation of S$2 to the Kreta Ayer Seniors Activity Centre, you will get a wishing charm and 3 tosses to hang it on the tree from 1 to 22 January 2012.

For Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, you can also submit your wishes online at http://www.chinatownfestivals.sg/CNY2012/home/ from 1 December 2011 to 6 February 2012.

Date: 1 Jan – 22 Jan 2012
Time: 3pm to 10pm
Venue: Kreta Ayer Square

Be part of this meaningful activity and stand to win yourself an iPad! Participants will be entered into a lucky draw that will be held over 5 weeks with a total of 10 iPads to be won!
