On the same day when there was a debit of $600 in my bank account, I met up with Piggy and her cousins for dinner. There was a big sale going on around Takashimaya and I decided to spend a tiny weeny bits of that money on Elizabeth Arden's perfume which I had been wanting to but ended up not getting it (for I was swayed by other products).

The next Elizabeth Arden item on my list would be the Whitening Capsules.

When I first started working at xxx company, HR colleague had introduced many people to me and I am ashamed to say that I could never remember everyone's name. (Mr.A was one of them, unfortunately.)

Despite not being able to memorize everyone's name to their faces, I had nicknamed them in my special own way and Mr. A was nicknamed "The IT guy" for he had set up my computer and all IT-related accounts for me on my first day at work.

Honestly, i can't believe my eyes when I had opened up my phone bill!
IF the plan that I had signed up for has no 12GB internet data package, I would die of a MASSIVE heart-attack!!!!
Just look at the bill ! For 256mb .. it cost a person (that do not have an internet data mobile plan) : $792 !!

I could use that sum of money to go on a weekend trip to Malaysia !!!!!

My workplace.

First day was nervous (as usual)! 

Though it is just the first day at work and I know that the workload will be getting heavier each day and stress will slowly increase... I actually love my workplace. I like my working environment.


Colleagues are friendly, they joke a lot and most importantly, the workplace is more towards a horizontal organisation than a vertical one.


No one would understand how happy I am (at the moment) except for B and D from Australia !
The two most important things on my resolution list has been fulfilled and yes, I am on the right track for the first half year of twenty-eleven!


Opportunity Cost! I will need to sacrifice certain things from today onwards in order to be success throughout the year but I suppose with a good management skill , I will be able to achieve more targets that I had set for twenty-eleven.

Despite the humid weather, it was a great night out..being able to view MBS in a closer distance than before. I will definitely be back again to take more picture of it (hopefully) with the sunset view.

Smokeless Palace

Steamboat (or "Hot Pot" according to my Hong Kong friends) has always been my choice of dinner when I am inviting a big group of friends to chill out at home. There was a year when I had to spend my Chinese New Year alone and I decided to invite my ex-colleagues (Nepalese, Indo-Australian, Syrian, Mauritian, Australian, Thai)  to my place for steamboat. It was a new experience for some of them.

Back in Australia, I dislike the idea of having steamboat in restaurants as their soup bases were salty and the services provided were never up to a standard. Thai's suki yaki sauce and hot chilli sauce is a MUST to have when it comes to having steamboat. However, I can never get that in Sydney's Chinese Restaurant (except in Thai Restaurant) for I will end up with weird salty chilli paste.


For a late birthday celebration, I was taken to Smokeless Palace for dinner.

Today is the second time where Piggy and I had wore the same shoe to meet up with Melly. No, it wasn't planned.

First it was the sandals that we had purchased from Rubi. Well piggy got hers in Rubi (Singapore) while I had purchased mine in Australia's Rubi outlet. And now, it's the 'flower-y' shoes that we had purchased last Sunday together. Great mind thinks alike?

We even wear the same shoe size which means, we can share and swap shoes with each other!!

Itacho Sushi (Bugis)

Itacho Sushi (which means 'chief chef' according to the website) is originally from Hong Kong rather than Japan. This sushi chain has an estimation of twenty branches in Hong Kong and I am quite surprise to know that they had actually set up an outlet in Sydney Airport (Terminal 1).

When we were directed to our seats, it feels like walking into a dim sum restaurant where patrons were ordering via the scribbling on those mini ordering paper while flipping through the menu.
