Eng Seng Restaurant

I never knew I was going to be addicted to Eng Seng Restaurant's black pepper crabs eight months ago when I took the first bite.

After ranting and whinging for months, I had finally managed to have a get-together with my mates over a huge plate of black pepper crabs. I wonder how did they make the black pepper sauce, it is not just sweet, savoury and spicy but incredibly heavenly! Coat your crab meat with a thick layer of that black pepper sauce and it will send you flying and kicking!

Stir-Fry Morning Glory (Kang Kong) with belacan sauce, Crispy chinese donut (You Tiao) and a plate of Mee Goreng are side dishes that we order whenever we visit the restaurant.

If you are planning to pay a visit to this restaurant for their pepper crabs, make sure you DO call them and make a reservation for the crabs or else, you will just be wasting your time queuing for nothing at the restaurant.

At about 8:30pm, noisy shutter doors will be heard in the restaurant and every customer will be reminded by the staffs again that they are closing at 8:45pm therefore if you are unable to finish your crabs by that time, you will need to do a 'take-away' service instead and dine somewhere else.
